PACSIN3 blocking peptide

PACSIN3 Antibody (N-term) Blocking Peptide

Gene Names
PACSIN3; SDPIII
Synonyms
PACSIN3; PACSIN3 Antibody (N-term) Blocking Peptide; Protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons protein 3; SH3 domain-containing protein 6511; PACSIN3 blocking peptide
Ordering
Specificity
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody was selected from the N-term region of human PACSIN3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Form/Format
The synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml deionized water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Sequence Length
424
Cellular Location
Cytoplasm. Cell membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side. Note: Detected at the inner aspect of the plasma membrane in myotubes
Tissue Location
Widely expressed, with highest levels in heart and skeletal muscle, intermediate levels in placenta, liver and pancreas, and very low levels in brain, lung and kidney
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 degree C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 degree C.
Related Product Information for PACSIN3 blocking peptide
Plays a role in endocytosis and regulates internalization of plasma membrane proteins. Overexpression impairs internalization of SLC2A1/GLUT1 and TRPV4 and increases the levels of SLC2A1/GLUT1 and TRPV4 at the cell membrane. Inhibits the TRPV4 calcium channel activity (By similarity).

Product Notes

The PACSIN3 pacsin3 (Catalog #AAA9227529) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PACSIN3, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
