• Specificity: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody was selected from the N-term region of KIF2C. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Association with microtubule plus ends is also mediated by interaction with KIF18B. Centromeric localization requires the presence of BUB1 and SGOL2.

Isoform 2 is testis-specific.
