Beta-2-Microglobulin ELISA Kit | b2M elisa kit

Rhesus monkey Beta-2-Microglobulin (b2M) ELISA Kit

Gene Names
B2M; IMD43
Reactivity
Rhesus Monkey
Synonyms
Beta-2-Microglobulin; Rhesus monkey Beta-2-Microglobulin (b2M) ELISA Kit; BMG; B2MG; b2M elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Rhesus Monkey
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of b2M. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between b2M and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross- reactivity detection between b2M and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.
Sequence Length
119
Samples
Serum, plasma, urine and other biological fluids
Assay Type
Quantitative Sandwich
Detection Range
3.12-200ng/mL
Sensitivity
1.19ng/mL
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level b2M were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level b2M were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for b2M elisa kit
Intended Uses: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of b2M in simian serum, plasma, urine and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to b2M. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to b2M. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain b2M, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of b2M in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a serum protein found in association with the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I heavy chain on the surface of nearly all nucleated cells. The protein has a predominantly beta-pleated sheet structure that can form amyloid fibrils in some pathological conditions. The encoded antimicrobial protein displays antibacterial activity in amniotic fluid. A mutation in this gene has been shown to result in hypercatabolic hypoproteinemia.[provided by RefSeq, Aug 2014]

Uniprot Description

B2M: Component of the class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC). Involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. Heterodimer of an alpha chain and a beta chain. Beta-2- microglobulin is the beta-chain of major histocompatibility complex class I molecules. Polymers of beta 2-microglobulin can be found in tissues from patients on long-term hemodialysis. Belongs to the beta-2-microglobulin family.

Product Notes

The Rhesus Monkey b2M b2m (Catalog #AAA2033688) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2033688 ELISA Kit recognizes Rhesus Monkey b2M. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Beta-2-Microglobulin, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
