Rat Type-1A angiotensin II receptor ELISA Kit | Agtr1 elisa kit
Rat Type-1A angiotensin II receptor ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Type-1A angiotensin II receptor. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody preparation specific for Type-1A angiotensin II receptor and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Type-1A angiotensin II receptor, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of Type-1A angiotensin II receptor in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description
receptor for and mediator of vascular remodeling effects of angiotensin II [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
AT1: receptor for angiotensin II. Angiotensin II is a potent vasopressor hormone and a primary regulator of aldosterone secretion. It is an important effector controlling blood pressure and volume in the cardiovascular system. Mediates the major cardiovascular effects of angiotensin II. May play role in the generation of reperfusion arrhythmias following restoration of blood flow to ischemic or infarcted myocardium. Mediates its action by association with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.

Product Notes
The Rat Agtr1 agtr1 (Catalog #AAA2882779) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2882779 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat Agtr1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Type-1A angiotensin II receptor, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
