For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Human
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of ADCY1 . No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ADCY1 and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is difficult for us to complete the crossreactivity detection between ADCY1 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.

Assay Type
Sandwich
Detection Range
0.781-50ng/ml
Sensitivity
<0.469ng/ml
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ADCY1 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<8%
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ADCY1 were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV (%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<10%
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C if kit is to be used within 1 week. Stable for 6 months (if micro ELISA Plate, Lyophilized Standard and Concentrated Biotinylated Detection Protein stored at-20 degree C. Other components at 2-8 degree C). Stable for 12 months (if the entire kit is stored at-20 degree C).

Related Product Information for ADCY1 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti- ADCY1 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti- ADCY1 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRPStreptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the ADCY1 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of ADCY1 can be calculated.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the of adenylate cyclase gene family that is primarily expressed in the brain. This protein is regulated by calcium/calmodulin concentration and may be involved in brain development. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2013]

Uniprot Description

ADCY1: a calmodulin-sensitive adenylyl cyclase expressed in brain. The mouse protein is involved in pattern formation of the brain. May be involved in regulatory processes in the central nervous system. It may play a role in memory acquisition and learning.

Product Notes

The Human ADCY1 adcy1 (Catalog #AAA760525) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA760525 ELISA Kit recognizes Human ADCY1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Adenylate cyclase type 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
