Specific Activity
~400U/ug. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will convert 1pmole of 3', 5'-cAMP to 5' AMP per min at 30 degree C in a reaction buffer containing 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.4, 0.2mM MgCl2. Assay buffer: 10mM tRIS-HCl, pH 7.4, 0.2mM MgCl2, 0.02mM CaCl2, 240nM Calmodulin; 3'5'-cAMP substrtae: 0.4mM; PDE1B: 2ng/ul.
Preparation and Storage
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
