Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This full transporter is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. This protein plays an essential role in the defense against toxic compounds and serves as the major high-affinity transporter of leukotriene C4. The encoded protein may also play an essential role in steroid hormone homeostasis as a transporter for steroid hormones and their metabolites. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2011]
Uniprot Description
ABCC1: a multi-pass membrane protein. A multidrug resistance member of the ABC transporter family that confers resistance to anticancer drugs. A multi-pass membrane protein. Exports sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), a potent inflammatory mediator, from mast cells during mast cell-mediated immune responses. Nine alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Multidrug Resistance Associated Protein 1 (MRP1), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
