NCBI Description

This gene encodes an ETS family transcription factor. The product of this gene contains two functional domains: a N-terminal pointed (PNT) domain that is involved in protein-protein interactions with itself and other proteins, and a C-terminal DNA-binding domain. Gene knockout studies in mice suggest that it is required for hematopoiesis and maintenance of the developing vascular network. This gene is known to be involved in a large number of chromosomal rearrangements associated with leukemia and congenital fibrosarcoma. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2008]

Product Notes

The ETV6/Tel etv6 (Catalog #AAA9614326) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phospho-ETV6/Tel (Ser257) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat Predicted Reactivity: Pig (88%), Bovine (88%), Rabbit (89%), Dog (100%), Chicken (100%), Xenopus (83%) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ETV6/Tel can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Peptide ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:1000-3000 IHC: 1:50-1:200 Peptide ELISA: 1:20,000-1:40,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ETV6/Tel etv6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ETV6/Tel, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
