Rabbit GABA-RB Polyclonal Antibody | anti-GABA-RB antibody
Phospho-GABA-RB (Ser410) Antibody
Predicted: Pig, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit, Dog
Predicted: Pig, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit, Dog
ELISA (Peptide): 1:20000-1:40000
Subunit Structure: Binds UBQLN1 (By similarity). Heteropentamer, formed by a combination of alpha, beta, gamma, delta and rho chains. Interacts with KCTD8, KCTD12 and KCTD16; this interaction determines the pharmacology and kinetics of the receptor response, the KCTD proteins markedly accelerating the GABA-B response, although to different extents (By similarity).
Similarity: Belongs to the ligand-gated ion channel (TC 1.A.9) family. Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor (TC 1.A.9.5) subfamily. GABRB1 sub-subfamily.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Predicted: 55 kDa
NCBI Description
The gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A receptor is a multisubunit chloride channel that mediates the fastest inhibitory synaptic transmission in the central nervous system. This gene encodes GABA A receptor, beta 1 subunit. It is mapped to chromosome 4p12 in a cluster comprised of genes encoding alpha 4, alpha 2 and gamma 1 subunits of the GABA A receptor. Alteration of this gene is implicated in the pathogenetics of schizophrenia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
GABRB1: GABA, the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the vertebrate brain, mediates neuronal inhibition by binding to the GABA/benzodiazepine receptor and opening an integral chloride channel. Belongs to the ligand-gated ion channel (TC 1.A.9) family. Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor (TC 1.A.9.5) subfamily. GABRB1 sub-subfamily.

Product Notes
The GABA-RB gabrb1 (Catalog #AAA9610613) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phospho-GABA-RB (Ser410) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat Predicted: Pig, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit, Dog and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GABA-RB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Peptide ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:2000 ELISA (Peptide): 1:20000-1:40000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GABA-RB gabrb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GABA-RB, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
