Rabbit ING4 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ING4 antibody
ING4 Antibody
Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Subunit Structure: Homodimer. Interacts with H3K4me3 and to a lesser extent with H3K4me2, the interaction augments HBO1 acetylation activity on H3 tails. Component of the HBO1 complex composed at least of ING4 or ING5, KAT7/HBO1, MEAF6, and one of JADE1, JADE2 and JADE3. Interacts with EP300, RELA and TP53; these interactions may be indirect. Interacts with EGLN1. Interacts with BCL2A1 (By similarity).
Post-translational Modifications: Citrullination by PADI4 within the nuclear localization signal disrupts the interaction with p53 and increases susceptibility to degradation.
Similarity: The PHD-type zinc finger mediates the binding to H3K4me3.The N-terminal coiled-coil domain mediates homodimerization. Belongs to the ING family.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Predicted: 29 kDa
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a tumor suppressor protein that contains a PHD-finger, which is a common motif in proteins involved in chromatin remodeling. This protein can bind TP53 and EP300/p300, a component of the histone acetyl transferase complex, suggesting its involvement in the TP53-dependent regulatory pathway. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed that encode distinct proteins. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Component of the HBO1 complex which has a histone H4-specific acetyltransferase activity, a reduced activity toward histone H3 and is responsible for the bulk of histone H4 acetylation in vivo. Through chromatin acetylation it may function in DNA replication. May inhibit tumor progression by modulating the transcriptional output of signaling pathways which regulate cell proliferation. Can suppress brain tumor angiogenesis through transcriptional repression of RELA/NFKB3 target genes when complexed with RELA. May also specifically suppress loss of contact inhibition elicited by activated oncogenes such as MYC. Represses hypoxia inducible factor's (HIF) activity by interacting with HIF prolyl hydroxylase 2 (EGLN1). Can enhance apoptosis induced by serum starvation in mammary epithelial cell line HC11 ().

Product Notes
The ING4 ing4 (Catalog #AAA9604149) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ING4 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ING4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ING4 ing4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ING4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
