POU domain, class 3, transcription factor 2 (Pou3f2) Recombinant Protein | Pou3f2 recombinant protein
Recombinant Mouse POU domain, class 3, transcription factor 2 (Pou3f2)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Transcription factor that plays a key role in neuronal differentiation (PubMed:24243019). Binds preferentially to the recognition sequence which consists of two distinct half-sites, ('GCAT') and ('TAAT'), separated by a non-conserved spacer region of 0, 2, or 3 nucleotides (). The combination of three transcription factors, ASCL1, POU3F2/BRN2 and MYT1L, is sufficient to reprogram fibroblasts and other somatic cells into induced neuronal (iN) cells in vitro (PubMed:20107439, PubMed:24243019, PubMed:27281220). Acts downstream of ASCL1, accessing chromatin that has been opened by ASCL1, and promotes transcription of neuronal genes (PubMed:24243019).

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "POU domain, class 3, transcription factor 2 (Pou3f2), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
