Uniprot Description

WNT3: Ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Wnt-3 and Wnt-3a play distinct roles in cell-cell signaling during morphogenesis of the developing neural tube. Defects in WNT3 are the cause of autosomal recessive tetra-amelia (ARTTRA). Tetra-amelia is a rare human genetic disorder characterized by complete absence of all four limbs and other anomalies such as craniofacial, nervous system, pulmonary, skeletal and urogenital defects. Belongs to the Wnt family.

Product Notes

The WNT3 wnt3 (Catalog #AAA9422551) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Yeast and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Full Length, 22. The Recombinant Mus musculus Proto-oncogene Wnt-3 reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Proto-oncogene Wnt-3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
