Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Human
Specificity
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human KRT32 and analogues was observed.
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces and Urine
Assay Type
Sandwich
Detection Range
0.625 ng/ml - 20 ng/ml.
Sensitivity
0.1 ng/ml.
Intended Uses
This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic applications! It is intended to be determinated KRT32 concentrations in Human serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Human KRT32 antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add KRT32 and KRT32 antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of KRT32 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin gene family. As a type I hair keratin, it is an acidic protein which heterodimerizes with type II keratins to form hair and nails. The type I hair keratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21 and have the same direction of transcription. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

K32: a type I hair keratin. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. There are two types of hair/microfibrillar keratin: type I (acidic; 40-55 kDa) [K9 to K20] and type II (neutral to basic; 56-70 kDa) [K1 to K8]. Both a basic and an acidic keratin are required for filament assembly.

Protein type: Cytoskeletal; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 17q21.2

Cellular Component: intermediate filament

Molecular Function: structural molecule activity

Biological Process: epidermis development

Product Notes

The Human KRT32 krt32 (Catalog #AAA9341130) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9341130 ELISA Kit recognizes Human KRT32. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "keratin 32, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
