NCBI Description

RNF43 is a HAP95 (AKAP8L; MIM 609475) binding ubiquitin ligase that promotes cell growth and is upregulated in colon cancer (Yagyu et al., 2004 [PubMed 15492824]; Sugiura et al., 2008 [PubMed 18313049]).[supplied by OMIM, Dec 2008]

Uniprot Description

RNF43: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that acts as a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway by mediating the ubiquitination, endocytosis and subsequent degradation of Wnt receptor complex components Frizzled. Acts on both canonical and non-canonical Wnt signaling pathway. Acts as a tumor suppressor in the intestinal stem cell zone by inhibiting the Wnt signaling pathway, thereby resticting the size of the intestinal stem cell zone. Belongs to the ZNRF3 family. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Human RNF43 rnf43 (Catalog #AAA9336145) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9336145 ELISA Kit recognizes Human RNF43. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ring finger protein 43, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
