Related Product Information for anti-TRIM71 antibody
LIN-41, also called tripartite motif-containing 71 (TRIM71), which was first identified in Caenorhabditis elegans, is responsible for the timing of cell fate determination. By encoding microRNAs (miRNAs), the heterochronic genes let-7 and lin-4 downregulate the gene encoding LIN-41. The miRNAs bind to six complementary sites on the 3' untranslated region (UTR) of the LIN-41 gene. This downregulation positively regulates the timing of the expression of LIN-29, an adult specification transcription factor.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that binds with miRNAs and maintains the growth and upkeep of embryonic stem cells. This gene also is involved in the G1-S phase transition of the cell cycle. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2015]

Uniprot Description

TRIM71: May be involved in controlling the timing of organ formation during development. Belongs to the TRIM/RBCC family.

Product Notes

The TRIM71 trim71 (Catalog #AAA8560013) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TRIM71 Rabbit pAb reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TRIM71 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1000-5000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TRIM71 trim71 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TRIM71, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
