Related Product Information for anti-NOLC1 antibody
Nucleolar protein that acts as a regulator of RNA polymerase I by connecting RNA polymerase I with enzymes responsible for ribosomal processing and modification (PubMed:10567578, PubMed:26399832). Required for neural crest specification: following monoubiquitination by the BCR(KBTBD8) complex, associates with TCOF1 and acts as a platform to connect RNA polymerase I with enzymes responsible for ribosomal processing and modification, leading to remodel the translational program of differentiating cells in favor of neural crest specification (PubMed:26399832). Involved in nucleologenesis, possibly by playing a role in the maintenance of the fundamental structure of the fibrillar center and dense fibrillar component in the nucleolus (PubMed:9016786). It has intrinsic GTPase and ATPase activities (PubMed:9016786).

Uniprot Description

NOLC1: Related to nucleologenesis, may play a role in the maintenance of the fundamental structure of the fibrillar center and dense fibrillar component in the nucleolus. It has intrinsic GTPase and ATPase activities. May play an important role in transcription catalyzed by RNA polymerase I. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The NOLC1 nolc1 (Catalog #AAA8545867) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NOLC1 Rabbit pAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NOLC1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:1000-1:2000 IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NOLC1 nolc1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NOLC1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
