Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse HRP2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-HDGFRP2 antibody
Anti-HRP2 Antibody
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of HRP2 expression in HepG2 (A), Hela (B) whole cell lysates.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of HRP2 staining in human stomach formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Immunofluorescent analysis of HRP2 staining in A549 cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a humidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a DyLight 594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the hepatoma-derived growth factor (HDGF) family. The protein includes an N-terminal PWWP domain that binds to methyl-lysine-containing histones, with specific binding of this protein to tri-methylated lysines 36 and 79 of histone H3, and di- and tri-methylated lysine 20 of histone H4. The protein functions in LEDGF/p75-independent HIV-1 replication by determining HIV-1 integration site selection. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2014]
Uniprot Description
HDGF2: a member of the hepatoma-derived growth factor (HDGF) family. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding slightly different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 19p13.3
Cellular Component: nucleus
Molecular Function: chromatin binding; DNA binding; protein binding
Biological Process: positive regulation of cell growth; transcription, DNA-dependent

Product Notes
The HDGFRP2 hdgfrp2 (Catalog #AAA8245853) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-HRP2 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HRP2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). WB: 1/500 - 1/2000; IHC: 1/50 - 1/200; IF/ICC: 1/50 - 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HDGFRP2 hdgfrp2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HRP2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
