NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is part of the T-cell receptor/CD3 complex (TCR/CD3 complex) and is involved in T-cell development and signal transduction. The encoded membrane protein represents the delta subunit of the CD3 complex, and along with four other CD3 subunits, binds either TCR alpha/beta or TCR gamma/delta to form the TCR/CD3 complex on the surface of T-cells. Defects in this gene are a cause of severe combined immunodeficiency autosomal recessive T-cell-negative/B-cell-positive/NK-cell-positive (SCIDBNK). Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Other variants may also exist, but the full-length natures of their transcripts has yet to be defined. Uniprot Description
CD3D: a T cell surface glycoprotein that is a component of the T cell antigen receptor. A defect in this protein causes a severe combined immunodeficiency characterized by the absence of T cells but normal B cells. Contains 1 ITAM domain.

Product Notes
The CD3D cd3d (Catalog #AAA8113340) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Anti-CD3D & CD3E Heterodimer Antibody, Rabbit Monoclonal reacts with Human, Cynomolgus and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD3D & CD3E Heterodimer can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS/FCM). ELISA: 1:5000-1:10,000 IHC-P: 1:100-1:500 FC/FACS/FCM: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD3D cd3d for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD3D & CD3E Heterodimer, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
