Related Product Information for anti-TPM1 antibody
TPM1, also known as tropomyosin-1, is a member of the tropomyosin family. Members of this family are highly conserved, widely distributed actin-binding proteins involved in the contractile system of striated and smooth muscles and the cytoskeleton of non-muscle cells. highly conserved, widely distributed actin-binding proteins involved in the contractile system of striated and smooth muscles and the cytoskeleton of non-muscle cells. TPM1 is one type of alpha-helical chain that forms the predominant tropomyosin of striated muscle. It binds to actin filaments in muscle and non-muscle cells. TPM1 plays a central role, in association with the troponin complex, in the calcium-dependent regulation of vertebrate striated muscle contraction.

Product Notes

The TPM1 (Catalog #AAA8108223) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-TPM1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TPM1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). IHC-P: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TPM1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TPM1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
