Monkey ADP-ribosylation factor-binding protein GGA2 (GGA2) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the Golgi-localized, gamma adaptin ear-containing, ARF-binding (GGA) family. This family includes ubiquitous coat proteins that regulate the trafficking of proteins between the trans-Golgi network and the lysosome. These proteins share an amino-terminal VHS domain which mediates sorting of the mannose 6-phosphate receptors at the trans-Golgi network. They also contain a carboxy-terminal region with homology to the ear domain of gamma-adaptins. This family member may play a significant role in cargo molecules regulation and clathrin-coated vesicle assembly. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
GGA2: Plays a role in protein sorting and trafficking between the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and endosomes. Mediates the ARF- dependent recruitment of clathrin to the TGN and binds ubiquitinated proteins and membrane cargo molecules with a cytosolic acidic cluster-dileucine (AC-LL) motif. Belongs to the GGA protein family.

Product Notes
The Monkey GGA2 gga2 (Catalog #AAA7233571) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7233571 ELISA Kit recognizes Monkey GGA2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ADP-ribosylation factor-binding protein GGA2 (GGA2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
