Rabbit anti-Human RRP8 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-RRP8 antibody
RRP8 Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
RRP8: Essential component of the eNoSC (energy-dependent nucleolar silencing) complex, a complex that mediates silencing of rDNA in response to intracellular energy status and acts by recruiting histone-modifying enzymes. The eNoSC complex is able to sense the energy status of cell: upon glucose starvation, elevation of NAD(+)/NADP(+) ratio activates SIRT1, leading to histone H3 deacetylation followed by dimethylation of H3 at 'Lys- 9' (H3K9me2) by SUV39H1 and the formation of silent chromatin in the rDNA locus. In the complex, RRP8 binds to H3K9me2 and probably acts as a methyltransferase. Its substrates are however unknown. Component of the eNoSC complex, composed of SIRT1, SUV39H1 and RRP8. Belongs to the methyltransferase superfamily. RRP8 family.

Product Notes
The RRP8 rrp8 (Catalog #AAA7131275) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RRP8 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RRP8 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:3000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RRP8 rrp8 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RRP8, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
