Rabbit anti-Human Myosin-9 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-MYH9 antibody
Rabbit anti-human Myosin-9 polyclonal Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a conventional non-muscle myosin; this protein should not be confused with the unconventional myosin-9a or 9b (MYO9A or MYO9B). The encoded protein is a myosin IIA heavy chain that contains an IQ domain and a myosin head-like domain which is involved in several important functions, including cytokinesis, cell motility and maintenance of cell shape. Defects in this gene have been associated with non-syndromic sensorineural deafness autosomal dominant type 17, Epstein syndrome, Alport syndrome with macrothrombocytopenia, Sebastian syndrome, Fechtner syndrome and macrothrombocytopenia with progressive sensorineural deafness. Uniprot Description
MYH9: Cellular myosin that appears to play a role in cytokinesis, cell shape, and specialized functions such as secretion and capping. Interacts with PDLIM2. Interacts with SLC6A4. Myosin is a hexameric protein that consists of 2 heavy chain subunits (MHC), 2 alkali light chain subunits (MLC) and 2 regulatory light chain subunits (MLC-2). Interacts with RASIP1. Interacts with DDR1. Interacts with SVIL and HTRA3. In the kidney, expressed in the glomeruli. Also expressed in leukocytes. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The MYH9 myh9 (Catalog #AAA7001003) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti-human Myosin-9 polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Myosin-9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Recommended dilution: IHC: 1:20-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MYH9 myh9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Myosin-9, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
