Reactivity
Chicken
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
Mouse IgG1 kappa
Clone Number
F21-2
Specificity
A monomorphic epitope on avian MHC Class I molecules (Mr ~ 68 kDa)
Like their mammalian counterparts, avian MHC Class I molecules (also known as B-F antigens) consist of a highly polymorphic alpha-chain (Mr ~ 44 kDa) non-covalently bound to the invariant beta 2-microglobulin subunit (Mr ~ 12 kDa). MHC Class I molecules are expressed on most nucleated cells where they present endogenously synthesized antigenic peptides to CD8+ T lymphocytes, which are usually cytotoxic T cells.1-3 MAb F21-2 also reacts with turkey MHC Class I.4
Form/Format
Purified (UNLB) Antibody
Sequence Length
236
Applicable Applications for anti-gamr-UA-c24 antibody
Flow Cytometry; Immunohistochemistry; Immunoprecipitation; Western Blot; Immunoaffinity Chromatography
Characterization
To ensure lot-to-lot consistency, each batch of monoclonal antibody is tested by flow cytometry to conform to characteristics of a standard reference reagent. Representative flow data are included with this product insert.
Preparation and Storage
The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied as 0.5 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2- 8 degree C.
The fluorescein (FITC) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 degree C.
The biotin (BIOT) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 degree C.
The R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) conjugate is supplied as 0.1 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent. Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze!
Protect conjugated forms from light. Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.

Product Notes

The MHC Class I gamr-ua-c24 (Catalog #AAA673929) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Chicken MHC Class I-UNLB reacts with Chicken and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MHC Class I can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry; Immunohistochemistry; Immunoprecipitation; Western Blot; Immunoaffinity Chromatography. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MHC Class I gamr-ua-c24 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MHC Class I, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
