Mouse Phosphotyrosine Monoclonal Antibody
Mouse Anti-Phosphotyrosine-PE
Protein tyrosine residues are phosphorylated as a result of intracellular protein kinase activation (e.g. via growth factors) during normal growth and development, and in oncogenesis. The most abundant population of target proteins for tyrosine phosphorylation are cell surface glycoproteins. Antibody to phosphotyrosine enables the detection, isolation and characterization of proteins containing phosphotyrosine. PY20 also prevents internalization of activated receptors, e.g. EGFr, when microinjected into cells. The affinity of PY20 for phosphotyrosine is approximately 10^-6 to 10^-7 M. PY20 binding to phosphorylated tyrosines can be inhibited by free phosphotyrosine and phenylphosphate, but not by phosphoserine, phosphothreonine or free phosphate. ^1-3

Product Notes
The Phosphotyrosine (Catalog #AAA673083) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Phosphotyrosine can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA; Immunofluorescence; Western Blot. Research Application(s): Detection of phosporylated tyrosine-containing proteins on Western blots Immunoaffinity purification of tyrosine-phosporylated proteins Quantitation of phosphotyrosine by Enzyme-Linked-Immunosorbent-Assay (ELISA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Phosphotyrosine for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phosphotyrosine, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
