Related Product Information for anti-IL-36R antibody
IL-36R is a member of the IL-1 receptor family that has been associated with various inflammation-associated diseases. Ligands binding to IL-36R subsequently recruit the IL-1RAcP (IL-1 Receptor Accessory Protein) forming a heterodimeric signaling complex. The latter is also used by IL-1Alpha and IL-1Beta. IL-36R is expressed by different immune cells, including Dendritic Cells, microglia and other myeloid cells. IL-36 stimulation of DC leads to the production of several cytokines by DC, including TNF-a, IL-1, IL-12, and IL-23. This interaction also enhances the expression of MHC class 2 and co-stimulatory molecules.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 receptor family. An experiment with transient gene expression demonstrated that this receptor was incapable of binding to interleukin 1 alpha and interleukin 1 beta with high affinity. This gene and four other interleukin 1 receptor family genes, including interleukin 1 receptor, type I (IL1R1), interleukin 1 receptor, type II (IL1R2), interleukin 1 receptor-like 1 (IL1RL1), and interleukin 18 receptor 1 (IL18R1), form a cytokine receptor gene cluster in a region mapped to chromosome 2q12. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

IL1RL2: Receptor for interleukin 1 family member 9 (IL1F9). Binding to the agonist leads to the activation of NF-kappa-B. Belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor family.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2q12.1

Cellular Component: integral to plasma membrane; plasma membrane

Molecular Function: interleukin-1 receptor activity

Biological Process: cellular defense response; signal transduction

Product Notes

The IL-36R il1rl2 (Catalog #AAA668412) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Monoclonal Antibody to IL-36R (Clone: ABM47A2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IL-36R can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC). WB: 2-4 ug/ml FC: 0.5-1ug/^106 Cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL-36R il1rl2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-36R, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
