Western Blot
Application Notes
Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: Load 10ul/lane for good visibility with antibodies.
Source Information
Recombinant human BMP3, expressed in E.coli. The active human BMP-3 refolded from monomer is a disulfide-linked homodimer. Each methionyl form of the monomer consists of 111aa and has a predicted molecular mass of 12.5kD.
Product Note
SDS may crystallize in cold conditions. It should redissolve by warming before taking it from the stock. It should be heated once prior to loading on gels.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Shipping Temperature: Blue Ice
Related Product Information for BMP3 recombinant protein
The BMPs belong to the TGF- Beta superfamily, whose members are widely represented throughout the animal kingdom. The BMPs are important regulators of key events in the processes of bone formation during embryogenesis, postnatal growth, remodeling and regeneration of the skeleton. The BMPs function by binding to a receptor complex that is found on all normal cells and is composed of type-I and -II receptors. The primary unit of bone formation is osteoblast, the bone-forming cell. These osteoblast cells respond to physical loading by transducing signals that alter gene expression patterns, and Cbfa (core binding factor), the osteoblast specific transcription factor plays an important role in osteoblast differentiation and function.

Product Notes

The BMP3 bmp3 (Catalog #AAA650573) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Bone Morphogenetic Protein 3, Recombinant, Human, Western Blot Positive Control can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: Load 10ul/lane for good visibility with antibodies. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BMP3 bmp3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Bone Morphogenetic Protein 3, Recombinant, Human, Western Blot Positive Control, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
