Rabbit anti-Human Fascin Polyclonal Antibody | anti-FSCN1 antibody
Fascin, ID (Singed-like Protein, 55kD Actin-bundling Protein, p55, SNL, HSN, FAN1, FSCN1) (MaxLight 750)
FLISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:50-1:100
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of Fascin Antibody (Center) in Y79 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). Fascin (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma with Fascin Antibody (Center), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometric analysis of NCI-H292 cells using Fascin Antibody (Center)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the fascin family of actin-binding proteins. Fascin proteins organize F-actin into parallel bundles, and are required for the formation of actin-based cellular protrusions. The encoded protein plays a critical role in cell migration, motility, adhesion and cellular interactions. Expression of this gene is known to be regulated by several microRNAs, and overexpression of this gene may play a role in the metastasis of multiple types of cancer by increasing cell motility. Expression of this gene is also a marker for Reed-Sternberg cells in Hodgkin's lymphoma. A pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 15. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011]
Uniprot Description
Fascin: Organizes filamentous actin into bundles with a minimum of 4.1:1 actin/fascin ratio. Plays a role in the organization of actin filament bundles and the formation of microspikes, membrane ruffles, and stress fibers. Important for the formation of a diverse set of cell protrusions, such as filopodia, and for cell motility and migration. Associates with beta-catenin. Ubiquitous. Belongs to the fascin family.

Product Notes
The FSCN1 fscn1 (Catalog #AAA6475673) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Fascin, ID (Singed-like Protein, 55kD Actin-bundling Protein, p55, SNL, HSN, FAN1, FSCN1) (MaxLight 750) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Fascin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), FLISA, Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:50-1:100 FLISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:50-1:100 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FSCN1 fscn1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Fascin, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
