Related Product Information for anti-POLE antibody
POLE belongs to the DNA polymerase type-B family. It participates in DNA repair and in chromosomal DNA replication. The DNA polymerase activity domain resides in the N-terminal half of the protein, while the C-terminus is necessary for complexing subunits B and C. The C-terminus may also regulate the catalytic activities of the enzyme. POLE consists of two subunits, 258kD and 55kD.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes the catalytic subunit of DNA polymerase epsilon. The enzyme is involved in DNA repair and chromosomal DNA replication. Mutations in this gene have been associated with colorectal cancer 12 and facial dysmorphism, immunodeficiency, livedo, and short stature. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2013]

Product Notes

The POLE (Catalog #AAA624218) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The POLE (Polymerase (DNA Directed), epsilon), DKFZp434F222, DNA Polymerase epsilon Catalytic Subunit A, DNA Polymerase II Subunit A, FLJ21434, POLE1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's POLE can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the POLE for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "POLE, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
