Related Product Information for anti-Il33 antibody
IL-33, also known as NF-HEV and DVS 27, is an IL-1 family member that is constitutively expressed in smooth muscle and airway epithelia and is upregulated by IL-1 alpha or beta in arterial smooth muscle, dermal fibroblasts and keratinocytes. IL-33 is synthesized as a 266aa, 32kD proform that localizes to the nucleus and may regulate gene transcription. Cleavage generates mature IL-33 as an 18kD C-terminal proinflammatory fragment which binds IL-1 R4/ST2 on Th2 and mast cells. Mature mouse IL-33 shares 55% and 90% amino acid sequence identity with human and rat IL-33, respectively.

Uniprot Description

IL33: Cytokine that binds to and signals through IL1RL1/ST2 and its stimulation recruits MYD88, IRAK1, IRAK4, and TRAF6, followed by phosphorylation of MAPK3/ERK1 and/or MAPK1/ERK2, MAPK14, and MAPK8. Induces T-helper type 2-associated cytokines. Belongs to the IL-1 family. Highly divergent. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cytokine

Cellular Component: extracellular space; extracellular region; cytoplasmic vesicle; chromosome; nucleus

Molecular Function: cytokine activity

Biological Process: negative regulation of T-helper 1 type immune response; positive regulation of T-helper 2 type immune response; transcription, DNA-dependent; positive regulation of interleukin-6 production; positive regulation of immunoglobulin secretion; negative regulation of leukocyte migration; positive regulation of interleukin-4 production; negative regulation of immunoglobulin secretion; positive regulation of proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; negative regulation of interferon-gamma production; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; positive regulation of interleukin-13 production; defense response to virus; positive regulation of interleukin-5 production; positive regulation of macrophage activation; positive regulation of inflammatory response

Product Notes

The Il33 il33 (Catalog #AAA607622) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Interleukin 33 Propeptide (IL-33, C9orf26, DKFZp586H0523, DVS27, IL1F11, IL-1F11, Interleukin-1 Family Member 11, Interleukin-33, NFEHEV, NFHEV, NF-HEV, Nuclear Factor from High Endothelial Venules, RP11-575C20.2) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Interleukin 33 Propeptide can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml; Detection limit for rmIL-33 is ~5ng/well. Western Blot: 2ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Il33 il33 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin 33 Propeptide, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
