Related Product Information for anti-HLA-G antibody
b2-microglobulin non-covalently associates with the 44kD a-chain to form the HLA Class I antigen complex. Human b2-microglobulin associated with HLA Class I antigens is expressed on many types of cells including lymphocytes, thymocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, platelets, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells. It is absent on erythrocytes.

NCBI Description

HLA-G belongs to the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. This class I molecule is a heterodimer consisting of a heavy chain and a light chain (beta-2 microglobulin). The heavy chain is anchored in the membrane. HLA-G is expressed on fetal derived placental cells. The heavy chain is approximately 45 kDa and its gene contains 8 exons. Exon one encodes the leader peptide, exons 2 and 3 encode the alpha1 and alpha2 domain, which both bind the peptide, exon 4 encodes the alpha3 domain, exon 5 encodes the transmembrane region, and exon 6 encodes the cytoplasmic tail. Uniprot Description

Sequence similarities: Belongs to the MHC class I family. RuleBase RU004439

Product Notes

The HLA-G hla-g (Catalog #AAA600300) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's b2-Microglobulin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF). Immunofluorescence/Flow Cytometry: 10ul/5x10e5 cells/test. Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections of cell smears): 1:25-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HLA-G hla-g for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "b2-Microglobulin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
