Related Product Information for anti-Blimp-1 antibody
Blimp-1 (B lymphocyte maturation protein-1) is a nuclear protein with five zinc fingers in its carboxy terminus. It is a transcriptional repressor that is both required and sufficient to trigger terminal differentiation of B lymphocytes and monocyte/macrophages. Blimp-1 is expressed in, and may be required for terminally differentiated epithelial cells, retinal neurons and other lineage cells. It has also been implicated in the repression of beta-interferon (IFN-beta) and c-myc gene expression.

Product Notes

The Blimp-1 blimp-1 (Catalog #AAA600028) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Blimp-1 (BLIMP 1, BLIMP1, B Lymphocyte Induced Maturation Protein 1, Positive Regulatory Domain I Binding Factor 1, PR Domain Containing 1, PRDI BF1, PRDM1) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Blimp-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Dilution: Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Flow Cytometry: 8ug/ml where cells are used at 2x10e6/ml Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Blimp-1 blimp-1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Blimp-1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
