Applicable Applications for anti-a-L-Fucosidase antibody
Immunoprecipitation (IP)
Application Notes
Directions for use: Working dilutions in non-precipitating antibody-binding techniques may vary widely, but may be between1/1 ,000 and 1/6,000.
Product Type
Primary Antibodies
Source Note
Source alpha -L-Fucosidase is isolated and purified from bovine kidney. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Physicochemical characteristics
PAb concentration 1 mg/0.5ml. No foreign proteins added.
Product
Purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG antibodies lyophilised from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2),stabilized with dextran. No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. No foreign protein added.
Handling
The Iyophilised PAb fraction is shipped at ambient temperature and may be stored at +4 degree C; prolonged storage at or below -20 degree C. It is reconstituted by adding 0.5 ml sterile distilled water, spun down to remove insoluble particles, divided into small aliquots, frozen and stored at or below -20 degree C. Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly at ambient temperature, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at +4 degree C, not refrozen, and preferably used the sarne day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the product.
Packing
Vial with 1 mg PAb fraction, Iyophilised from 0.5 ml phosphate buffered saline.
Caution
This product should be handled by qualified persons only and appropriate precautions should be taken in its handling and disposal, and of all associated materials. For in vitro laboratory research purposes only.
Preparation and Storage
The lyophilised PAb fraction is shipped at ambient temperature and may be stored at +4°C; prolonged storage at or below -20°C. It is reconstituted by adding 0.5 ml sterile distilled water, spun down to remove insoluble particles, divided into small aliquots, frozen and stored at or below -20°C. Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly at ambient temperature, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at +4°C, not refrozen, and preferably used the same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the product. Lyophilized at +4° C--at least 10 years. Reconstituted at or below -20° C--3-5 years. Reconstituted at +4° C--7 days.

Background: The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques: immunoelectrophoresis, cross-immunoelectrophoresis, single radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition. This product is intended for use in precipitating and non-precipitating antibody-binding assays (such as e.g., ELISA and Western blotting and immunofluorescence or histochemical techniques); to prepare an insoluble immuno-affinity adsorbent; for labelling with a marker of the customer’s own choice.

Product Notes

The a-L-Fucosidase (Catalog #AAA573699) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti Bovine a-L-Fucosidase reacts with Cross Reactivity: Cross-reactivities against enzymes of other sources may occur but have not been determined. Species Reactivity: Cattle and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's a-L-Fucosidase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP). Directions for use: Working dilutions in non-precipitating antibody-binding techniques may vary widely, but may be between1/1,000 and 1/6,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the a-L-Fucosidase for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "a-L-Fucosidase, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
