Biological Significance
TECK is a CC chemokine, specifically expressed by thymic stromal cells, and signals through the CCR9 receptor. TECK is chemotactic towards activated macrophages, thymocytes and dendritic cells.

Additional Remarks
Purified from ascites fluid by Protein A affinity chromatography. To yield one-half maximal inhibition of the biological activity of hTECK(100 ng/ml), a concentration of 10.0-20.0 ug/ml of this antibody is required.
Preparation and Storage
Ships ambient or refrigerated. Upon receipt store at 4 degree C short term, -20 degree C long term. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least 2 weeks at 4 degree C. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -20 degree C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
