Biological Significance
Nup37 is a component of the Nup107-160 subcomplex of the nuclear pore complex (NPC). The Nup107-160 subcomplex is required for the assembly of a functional NPC. The Nup107-160 subcomplex is also required for normal kinetochore microtubule attachment, mitotic progression and chromosome segregation.
Cross-Reactivity
Human, Mouse
Immunogen
Nup37 antibody was raised in rabbit using the N terminal of Nup37 as the immunogen
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C, following reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

NCBI Description

Bidirectional transport of macromolecules between the cytoplasm and nucleus occurs through nuclear pore complexes (NPCs) embedded in the nuclear envelope. NPCs are composed of subcomplexes, and NUP37 is part of one such subcomplex, Nup107-160 (Loiodice et al., 2004 [PubMed 15146057]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The Nup37 nup37 (Catalog #AAA5303297) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Nup37 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Optimal conditions to be determined by the end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Nup37 nup37 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nup37, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
