Zfp369: Transcription regulator which may participate in NGFR/p75(NTR)-mediated apoptosis. Probably acts as a transcription repressor: specifically binds to the 3'-end of zinc-finger coding genes and recruiting chromatin-modifying proteins such as SETDB1 and TRIM28/KAP1, leading to transcription repression. Belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
