Rabbit polyclonal, affinity-purified antibody is supplied in 100ul phosphate-buffered saline, 50% glycerol, 1mg/ml BSA, and 0.05% sodium azide.
Applicable Applications for anti-NLRC4 antibody
Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA)
Application Notes
ELISA: 1:2000
WB: 1:1000
Immunogen
NLRC4 (a.a. 525-538) synthetic peptide (coupled to carrier) corresponding to amino acids in mouse NLRC4. This sequence has high homology to human and rat NLRC4, and is not homologous to sequences in other NLR family members.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C. Stable for 1 year.

Related Product Information for anti-NLRC4 antibody
The nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptor (NLR) family is a diverse family of cytoplasmic innate immune receptors that are involved in recognition of pathogen-associated molecular patterns. NLRs are important for pathogen sensing, transcriptional activation of proinflammatory cytokines and activation of inflammatory caspases. NLRC4 (IPAF, CARD12) forms the inflammasome that responds to bacterial flagellin. This inflammasome is activated by NLRC4 oligomerization, NAIP protein binding, and activation of caspase-1 leading to pyroptosis. NLRC4 is phosphorylated on Ser-533 by PKCdelta following infection of macrophages with S. typhimurium. Mutant forms of NLRC4 demonstrate that an unphosphorylatable form (S533A) does not activate caspase-1 and pyroptosis in response to S. typhimurium, while a phosphomimetic NLRC4 (S533D) mutant causes rapid macrophage pyroptosis without infection. Thus, PKCdelta phosphorylation of NLRC4 (S533) may be a critical event in inflammasome activation and host innate immunity.

Product Notes

The NLRC4 nlrc4 (Catalog #AAA474481) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NLRC4 (a.a. 525-538) Antibody reacts with Human, Rat, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NLRC4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). ELISA: 1:2000 WB: 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NLRC4 nlrc4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NLRC4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
