RTU ELISA Kit's Advantage
The Ready-To-Use (RTU) Kits require fewer steps in setup and take less time to run. Detection Solutions are pre-diluted and total incubation time is shorter than many other ELISA Kits.
Preparation and Storage
For unopened kits: All the reagents should be kept at 4 degree C upon receipt.
For opened kits: Once the kit is opened, the remaining reagents still need to be stored according to the above storage conditions. In addition, return the unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack and reseal along entire edge of zip-seal.
Related Product Information for CRH rtu elisa kit
Test Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. A monoclonal antibody specific to CRH has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled CRH and unlabeled CRH (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to CRH. After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of CRH in the sample. After addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of color developed is reverse proportional to the concentration of CRH in the sample.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the corticotropin-releasing factor family and preproprotein that is proteolytically processed to generate a mature protein product. This protein product is a neuropeptide hormone that binds to the corticotropin releasing hormone receptors (CRHR1 and CRHR2) to stimulate the release of adrenocorticotropic hormone from the pituitary gland in response to stress. The encoded protein may also regulate angiogenesis and inflammation. Homozygous knockout mice for this gene exhibit reduced corticosterone levels while the offspring of these mice die perinatally. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]

Uniprot Description

Hormone regulating the release of corticotropin from pituitary gland. Induces NLRP6 in intestinal epithelial cells, hence may influence gut microbiota profile (PubMed:23470617).

Product Notes

The Mouse CRH crh (Catalog #AAA458565) is a RTU ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA458565 RTU ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse CRH. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Corticotropin Releasing Hormone (CRH), RTU ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
