Specificity
The antibody is specific for a 90000 dalton lymphocyte surface receptor (murine equivalent to human L-selectin/CD62L) for high endothelial venule determinants in peripheral lymph nodes. This receptor appears to be required for lymphocyte homing into lymph nodes in vivo. The antibody binds to a determinant present in a peptide containing the 13 C terminal residues of ubiquitin. It does not bind to native ubiquitin or to ubiquitinated proteins.

Related Product Information for anti-CD62L antibody
CD62L, L-selectin, is a cell surface component that is a member of a family of adhesion/homing receptors which play important roles in leukocyte-endothelial cell interactions. The molecule is composed of multiple domains: one homologous to lectins, one to epidermal growth factor, and two to the consensus repeat units found in C3/C4 binding proteins.

Product Notes

The CD62L (Catalog #AAA418464) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-mouse Sell/CD62L Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Sell/CD62L, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
