NCBI Description

Cleavage factor Im (CFIm) is one of six factors necessary for correct cleavage and polyadenylation of pre-mRNAs. CFIm is composed of three different subunits of 25, 59, and 68 kDa, and it functions as a heterotetramer, with a dimer of the 25 kDa subunit binding to two of the 59 or 68 kDa subunits. The protein encoded by this gene represents the 59 kDa subunit, which can interact with the splicing factor U2 snRNP Auxiliary Factor (U2AF) 65 to link the splicing and polyadenylation complexes. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2016]

Uniprot Description

CPSF7: probable component of the cleavage factor Im complex (CFIm) that plays a key role in pre-mRNA 3' processing. Binds to cleavage and polyadenylation RNA substrates. Probable component of the cleavage factor Im (CFIm) complex, composed at least of NUDT21/CPSF5 and CPSF6 or CPSF7. Two alternatively-spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes

The FLJ12529 cpsf7 (Catalog #AAA3230560) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's FLJ12529 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FLJ12529 cpsf7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FLJ12529, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
