Related Product Information for MED6 blocking peptide
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-MED6 Antibody, made

Target Description: MED6 is a component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene-specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. And mediator is recruited to promoters by direct interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional preinitiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors.

Product Notes

The MED6 med6 (Catalog #AAA3229157) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MED6 Peptide - N-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MED6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MED6 med6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: ILNSGSVLDY FSERSNPFYD RTCNNEVVKM QRLTLEHLNQ MVGIEYILLH. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MED6, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
