Related Product Information for anti-T121 antibody
All eukaryotic cells express Actin, which often constitutes as much as 50% of total cellular protein. Actin filaments can form both stable and labile structures and are crucial components of microvilli and the contractile apparatus of muscle cells. While lower eukaryotes, such as yeast, have only one Actin gene, higher eukaryotes have several isoforms encoded by a family of genes. At least six types of Actin are present in mammalian tissues and fall into three classes. Members of the small GTPase family regulate the organization of the Actin cytoskeleton. Rho controls the assembly of Actin stress fibers and focal adhesion. Rac regulates Actin filament accumulation at the plasma membrane. Cdc42 stimulates formation of filopodia.

Product Notes

The T121 potekp (Catalog #AAA3013801) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Actin-kappa (T121) Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Actin-kappa can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:500-1:1000 IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the T121 potekp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Actin-kappa, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
