Related Product Information for DnaJB4 blocking peptide
DnaJ heat shock induced proteins are from the bacterium Escherichia coli and are under the control of the htpR regulatory protein. The DnaJ proteins play a critical role in the HSP 70 chaperone machine by interacting with HSP 70 to stimulate ATP hydrolysis. The proteins contain cysteine rich regions that are composed of zinc fingers that form a peptide binding domain responsible for the chaperone function. DnaJ proteins are important mediators of proteolysis and are involved in the regulation of protein degradation, exocytosis and endocytosis. DnaJB4 (DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 4), also known as HLJ1, is expressed in skeletal muscle, heart and pancreas, and lower expression in brain, placenta and liver.

Product Notes

The DnaJB4 dnajb4 (Catalog #AAA3003327) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's DnaJB4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DnaJB4 dnajb4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DnaJB4, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
