Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgG1
Clone Number
OX-6
Specificity
Recognises a monomorphic determinant of the rat RT1B MHC class II antigen present on B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, some macrophages and certain epithelial cells. The literature reports that this clone does not react with the rat BDIX strain due to a defect in RT1B expression. also cross reacts with a polymorphic determinant on mouse strains of the H-2 haplotypes k and s. Analysis of recombinant mouse strains has mapped the OX-6 determinant to the H-2I-A region.

Product Notes

The MHC Class II RT-1B (Catalog #AAA245890) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Monoclonal [clone OX-6] (IgG1) to Rat MHC Class II RT-1B reacts with Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MHC Class II RT-1B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin; IHC - Frozen), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Flo (1:50 - 1:100), IHC-Fr, IHC-P (10 ug/ml), WB Usage: Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 ul. Method sheets are available on request. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MHC Class II RT-1B for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MHC Class II RT-1B, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
