Mouse
Preparation and Storage
Prior to reconstitution store at 4 degree C. Following reconstitution store at -20 degree C only. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 3 months from date of reconstitution.

Uniprot Description

CCL3L1: Chemotactic for lymphocytes and monocytes. Is a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5. Is an inhibitor of HIV-1-infection. The processed form LD78-beta(3-70) shows a 20-fold to 30-fold higher chemotactic activity and is a very potent inhibitor of HIV-1- infection. LD78-beta(3-70) is also a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Protein type: Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Secreted, signal peptide; Chemokine; Secreted

Cellular Component: extracellular space; cell; extracellular region; cytosol

Molecular Function: protein binding; chemokine activity; cytokine activity

Biological Process: neutrophil chemotaxis; positive regulation of osteoclast differentiation; leukocyte chemotaxis; positive regulation of interleukin-1 beta secretion; chemotaxis; positive regulation of tumor necrosis factor production; macrophage chemotaxis; regulation of cell shape; elevation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; positive regulation of neuron apoptosis; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; immune response; inflammatory response; astrocyte cell migration; positive regulation of inflammatory response

Product Notes

The MIP-1 ALPHA ccl3 (Catalog #AAA232334) is a Recombinant Protein and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's MIP-1 ALPHA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Functional Assays (FN), Western Blot (WB). ELISA: Minimum Dilution: 0.2; Maximum Dilution: 0.4ng/well; Functional Assays: Minimum Dilution: 10; Maximum Dilution: 100ng/ml; Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 1.5; Maximum Dilution: 3.0ng/lane. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MIP-1 ALPHA ccl3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MIP-1 ALPHA, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
