Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Human
Clonality
Polyclonal
Isotype
IgG
Specificity
This item is specific for mouse Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7).

TLR7 is thought to play a role in the innate immune response to viral pathogens.

Mouse TLR7 is localized in endosomal compartments, and recognises single stranded RNA viruses. Stimulation of TLR7 causes a type I IFN response, in a MyD88 dependent pathway.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a 14 amino acid sequence within mouse TLR7.
Buffer Solution
Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to mouse TLR7 were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by ion exchange chromatography.
Target Species
Mouse
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.

Uniprot Description

TLR7: Key component of innate and adaptive immunity. TLRs (Toll-like receptors) control host immune response against pathogens through recognition of molecular patterns specific to microorganisms. TLR7 is a nucleotide-sensing TLR which is activated by single-stranded RNA. Acts via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Interacts with MYD88 via their respective TIR domains. Interacts with UNC93B1. Detected in brain, placenta, spleen, stomach, small intestine, lung and in plasmacytoid pre-dendritic cells. Belongs to the Toll-like receptor family.

Product Notes

The TLR7 tlr7 (Catalog #AAA221758) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RABBIT ANTI MOUSE TLR7 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TLR7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 0.5ug/ml; Maximum Dilution: 2.0ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TLR7 tlr7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TLR7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
