MHC CLASS I; Monoclonal Antibody; MOUSE ANTI MOUSE MHC CLASS I:FITC; anti-MHC CLASS I antibody
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Host
Mouse
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgG2b
Clone Number
2G5
Specificity
The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is a cluster of genes that are important in the immune response to infections. In mice, this complex is referred to as the histocompatibility 2 (H-2) region. This item recognises a monomorphic epitope present on murine MHC class I molecules, which are expressed at varying levels on the majority of nucleated cells. The epitope recognised by clone 2G5 is conformation dependent and is reported to be phylogenetically conserved. Reactivity has been observed with some canine samples suggesting that this antibody may recognise a polymorphic epitope of canine MHC class I.

Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

Product Notes

The MHC CLASS I (Catalog #AAA215606) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's MHC CLASS I can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat; Maximum Dilution: 1/5. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MHC CLASS I for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MHC CLASS I, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
