This item is specific for Herpes Simplex virus 2 glycoprotein D (HSV2 gD) a major component of the virion envelope and infected cell membranes that is essential for virus entry into cells.
This antibody reacts with a 56-64 kD band, corresponding to glycoprotein D, in an HSV (purified) and infected Vero cell lysate immunoblot.
This item is specific for Herpes Simplex virus 2 glycoprotein D (HSV2 gD) a major component of the virion envelope and infected cell membranes that is essential for virus entry into cells.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
