Active Golgi Protein 73 (GP73)
Activity Data
(Golgi Protein 73 (GP73) also known as Golgi phosphoprotein 2 or Golgi membrane protein GP73 is a protein that encoded by the GOLM1 gene. The Golgi complex plays a key role in the sorting and modification of proteins exported from the endoplasmic reticulum. It has been observed to be upregulated in response to viral infection. Besides, Dymeclin (DYM) has been identified as an interactor of GP73, thus a binding ELISA assay was conducted to detect the interaction of recombinant mouse GP73 and recombinant human DYM. Briefly, GP73 were diluted serially in PBS, with 0.01% BSA (pH 7.4). Duplicate samples of 100uL were then transferred to DYM-coated microtiter wells and incubated for 2h at 37 degree C. Wells were washed with PBST and incubated for 1h with anti-GP73 pAb, then aspirated and washed 3 times. After incubation with HRP labelled secondary antibody, wells were aspirated and washed 3 times. With the addition of substrate solution, wells were incubated 15-25 minutes at 37 degree C. Finally, add 50uL stop solution to the wells and read at 450nm immediately. The binding activity of of GP73 and DYM was shown in Figure 1, and this effect was in a dose dependent manner.)

The GP73 golm1 (Catalog #AAA2097297) is an Active Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Active Golgi Protein 73 (GP73) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Golgi Protein 73 (GP73) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell culture, Activity Assays. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GP73 golm1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Golgi Protein 73 (GP73), Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
