Preparation and Storage
Storage:
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 4 degree C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for 12 months.

Stability Test:
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Note: As fluorescence can photo bleach when exposed to light, so the antibody must be protected from light.

Uniprot Description

RAC1: a plasma membrane-associated member of the Rho-GTPase family. Plays a key role in cytoskeletal reorganization, membrane trafficking, transcriptional regulation and cell growth and development. GTP binding stimulates its activity. Phosphorylation by Akt may inhibit GTP binding of Rac1, therefore attenuating the downstream signal transduction pathway. Found in a trimeric complex composed of DOCK1 and ELMO1, which plays a central role in phagocytosis of apoptotic cells. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes

The Rac1 rac1 (Catalog #AAA2083888) is an Antibody produced from Gallus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FITC-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Ras Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1 (Rac1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Ras Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1 (Rac1) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, Immunofluorescence (IF). Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/mL Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. . Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Rac1 rac1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ras Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1 (Rac1), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
