Cytokine Inducible SH2 Containing Protein Recombinant Protein | CISH recombinant protein
Recombinant Cytokine Inducible SH2 Containing Protein (CISH)
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 2-8°C for one month.
Aliquot and store at -80°C for 12 months.
Stability Test:
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Accurate Molecular Mass: 25kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions.
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene contains a SH2 domain and a SOCS box domain. The protein thus belongs to the cytokine-induced STAT inhibitor (CIS), also known as suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) or STAT-induced STAT inhibitor (SSI), protein family. CIS family members are known to be cytokine-inducible negative regulators of cytokine signaling. The expression of this gene can be induced by IL2, IL3, GM-CSF and EPO in hematopoietic cells. Proteasome-mediated degradation of this protein has been shown to be involved in the inactivation of the erythropoietin receptor. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2008]
Uniprot Description
CISH: SOCS family proteins form part of a classical negative feedback system that regulates cytokine signal transduction. CIS is involved in the negative regulation of cytokines that signal through the JAK-STAT5 pathway such as erythropoietin, prolactin and interleukin 3 (IL3) receptor. Inhibits STAT5 trans-activation by suppressing its tyrosine phosphorylation. May be a substrate- recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin BC-CUL2/5-SOCS- box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Stably associated with the tyrosine-phosphorylated IL3 receptor beta chain and tyrosine-phosphorylated EPO receptor (EPOR). By a subset of cytokines including EPO/erythropoietin. Expressed in various epithelial tissues. Abundantly expressed in liver and kidney, and to a lesser extent in lung. The tissue distribution of isoforms 1 and 1B is distinct. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The CISH cish (Catalog #AAA2033630) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E.coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Cytokine Inducible SH2 Containing Protein (CISH) reacts with Mus musculus (Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Cytokine Inducible SH2 Containing Protein can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Positive Control; Immunogen; SDS-PAGE; Western Blot (WB). (May be suitable for use in other assays to be determined by the end user.). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CISH cish for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: ES GWYWGSITAS EARQHLQKMP EGTFLVRDST HPSYLFTLSV KTTRGPTNVR IEYADSSFRL DSNCLSRPRI LAFPDVVSLV QHYVASCAAD TRSDSPDPAP TPALPMSKQD APSDSVLPIP VATAVHLKLV QPFVRRSSAR SLQHLCRLVI NRLVADVDCL PLPRRMADYL RQYPFQ. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cytokine Inducible SH2 Containing Protein, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
